Field Inspector Job Description (sample): Performs a combination of functions necessary to provide
Inspector/Technician Supervisor field duties for ADOT projects;
Perform or supervise field testing for: density, concrete, asphalt,
soils; Perform inspection for: concrete reinforcement, concrete,
pipe, drainage, and other miscellaneous materials; Work with clients
such as ADOT, MCDOT and other municipal transportation departments. High school diploma or equivalent; 6+ years construction
experience or equivalent experience in a directly related field;
Ability to effectively use field test equipment, perform field
calculations, accurately record field data; Ability to use MS Word
and Excel; Valid driver's license; ACI and ATTI Certification.
